Newport Housing Trust – A Fresh New Look

 

Newport Housing Trust recently made the decision to review its corporate brand. The logo and corporate ID was developed over ten years ago and the Board of the Trust feels that the brand should be clarified and refreshed to help drive the organization forward over the next few years. New Services and New products to help Older People in the Region are in development. Potential subsidiary brands will assist with the delivery of these important innovations.

 

Strong branding adds sustainable value by enhancing awareness, quality perception and loyalty. Values determine brand and brand determines behavior. Value-driven organisations like the Trust that are confident and responsive to their clients will be more likely to achieve ‘sustainable success’.

 

Newport Housing Trust involved their tenants in the rebranding process every step of the way. Comments on the chosen design are,

 

“This is my favourite as its bright and colourful and I think the different colours show the different dimensions of the Trust and is a different concept to what we have now – showing the Trust is moving forward.” and “This is my favourite – immediately catches the eye and the house at the end of the rainbow gives a housing identity for the Trust.”
